The Practice

Simple, Transparent, Ongoing Care

The Model

Iaso Health was created to offer a more thoughtful approach to care, one that prioritizes time, access, and continuity.

Rather than focusing on volume, the practice is intentionally designed to support deeper patient relationships and a clearer understanding of health over time.

Care is delivered through longer visits, direct communication, and a simplified structure that allows for more focused, individualized decision-making.

This model supports not only the treatment of illness, but also the maintenance of health through prevention, early intervention, and ongoing care.

It was also built for patients who have navigated a fragmented or dismissive healthcare system and are looking for a provider who will listen, advocate alongside them, and take the time to get it right.

The Provider

Iaso Health is led by Claire Wicks-Tucker, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her clinical background spans primary care and women's health, built on years of hospital and outpatient nursing in obstetrics, gynecology, and vascular access. Members see the same clinician at every visit, and each one builds on the last.

Before nursing, Claire studied ceramics and architecture. That training in structure, material, and close attention carries into her clinical work: noticing patterns, understanding context, and building care meant to hold up over time.

The Approach

Care at Iaso Health is grounded in listening carefully, assessing thoroughly, and making decisions with intention. The focus goes beyond symptoms to what shapes them over time, including hormonal and metabolic health.

Each patient relationship develops over time, allowing care to evolve in a way that reflects individual needs, preferences, and goals.

The Name

Iaso (ee-AH-soh) was the Greek goddess of recuperation from illness, one of five daughters of Asclepius, the god of medicine. Her name comes from the Ancient Greek word for healing.

The practice carries her name as a reflection of what care should be: restorative, continuous, and intentional.

Looking Ahead

Aceso Grove

Among Iaso's sisters was Aceso, associated not with the cure itself, but with the process of healing.

Aceso Grove is a planned movement and reflection studio from Iaso Health Group, named in her honor and rooted in the belief that physical and emotional well-being are inseparable. It is envisioned as a quiet space for somatic yoga and restorative movement, open to the wider Rhode Island community, and home to the "I Am" Flow, an original somatic yoga series developed by Claire Wicks-Tucker.

Aceso Grove will operate separately from the medical care provided at Iaso Health. More details will be shared as plans take shape.

The photograph shown here is a 2016 self-portrait of Claire during a period of intensive yoga study, taken in her childhood home long before Iaso Health had a name.

For now, care at Iaso Health begins with a conversation.
